Branding & Website Design
Greg Richardson is an accomplished photographer whose central subject is architecture. Greg has a great respect for design and taste for minimalism. Greg asked for help with his brand and visual identity, as well as his website. For his identity, we chose to call on traditional photography for the colours black and warm silver/grey, and coupled that with an all-capitals arrangement of the Futura typeface. We took that foundation to the website, where worked hard to make sure that the graphic design “stayed out of the way” of the photography; creating a simple structure and navigation that simply supports Greg’s artful photographic images. Taken as a whole, the work communicates a quite confidence for a photographer at the top of his game.
