Creative Direction & Brand Experience
I am currently the creative director at Eldis Group. Eldis owns a collection of e-commerce websites that help customers find repair parts to fix items in and around the home. I was hired to lead their in-house design department and launch a new brand, Fix.com. This role has given me extensive experience in the e-commerce industry as I collaborated closely with upper management and employees across all departments. Fix.com is just one website that I have worked on. In recent months, I have helped with UX strategy, customer research, and design for other e-commerce websites owned by Eldis.
Brand Strategy & Visual Identity
Facilitated employee engagement, through internal branding workshops. Conducted customer satisfaction and demographic surveys. Studied competition, developed points of parity/difference. Developed brand brief: mission, vision, brand essence, etc. Designed the Fix logo and developed corporate visual identity guidelines. Art directed digital media (image, video, sound, motion graphics).
Interaction Design & User Experience
Collaborated with UX analyst on user research. Gathered requirements, did project documentation and reporting. Assisted with information architecture. User interface design. Created low/high fidelity wire-frames. Designed for CRO tests. Worked with developers on a variety of projects for all company websites.
Design Management and Digital Content
As part of my role at Eldis, I have worked on digital illustrations for the Fix.com blog. I've managed a team dedicated to designing digital infographics for company blogs (28+ articles/month), and developed guidelines for infographics and illustration to ensure consistency in style, quality, and file size. I've setup project management software and monitored team output and efficiency, and collaborated closely with editorial and marketing to ensure efficient production of high-quality, shareable digital content.
